Accidents Don’t Need To Happen
The Health, Safety & Wellbeing of our employees, contractors or anyone who comes into contact with our operations is our number one priority.
Our attitudes, perceptions and values play a key role in how we manage safety and it’s a key driver within our safety culture and future strategy. We encourage cooperation from our employees to identify hazards and safety concerns before they become an issue. We gather data and look at trends to understand why things happen and how to ensure they don’t happen again.
Dynamic risk assessments are part of our daily work and help us identify problems before we conduct our work. Our methods of doing our work are also detailed and allow us to do what we need to do in the safest possible way.
We also aim to actively collaborate with our supply chain partners to ensure that all risks are identified and then subsequently managed or removed. We provide in-depth on-going training for all employees to ensure that we can operate at the very highest safety standards.
Our ISO45001 management system helps us to eliminate occupational injuries whilst promoting physical and mental well-being. You can see our certificate here.
The business operates a large number of operated plant and vans and as part of our hazard mitigation we also hold the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation. You can see our certificate here. Our further commitment to health and safety covers other accreditations such as Avetta, Construction line Gold & CHAS.
In summary, Health and Safety is in everything we do.
